Women's Street Smart Self-Defense

$20 per person ($5 from each enrollment will be donated to The Spring of Tampa Bay)

---Women and girls age 12 years and older

—Class size is limited to 30 participants

—Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes

—Karate classes are also available for all ages Monday thru Thursday evenings

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

Class Focus: Being safe during holiday events and at shopping malls

Participants in the program learn the following:

 -Proper stretching techniques and light cardio training

-Early awareness and response skills to potentially violent incidents

-Child abduction and human trafficking awareness

-Scenario training with an emphasis on personal safety (verbal & physical coaching)

-Defense tactics training to counter basic grabs, chokes, strikes and more

-Techniques to help avoid pick-pocketing, parking lot attacks, and car jacking.

- Learn how pedophiles groom their victims and how to keep your child from safe from being a victim.
